ABOUT YARDEN
Yarden Romann, 35 years old, German citizen, is first and foremost mother to 3-year-old Geffen, and then a physical therapist with a Masters degree in gerontology. Yarden is a woman full of empathy and constantly spreads love to those around her, especially following the recent death of her mother, Orly, who passed away from cancer last year.
THE DAY EVERYTHING CHANGED
Yarden, her husband Alon, their three-year-old daughter Geffen, Alon's mother and his sister were kidnapped from Kibbutz Be'eri by Hamas. Alon and Geffen were saved after they escaped from the vehicle in which they were taken to the border with Gaza. Yarden wasn't able to run fast enough. That was the last time Yarden was seen. Kinneret, Alon's mother, was later found dead and we have no information about his sister Carmel.
